Verde Tools Hub
Requirements, controls, trophies, and a first-week garden checklist.
The Tools hub holds player utilities that are not full story walkthroughs. Confirm your PC or Mac on System Requirements. Learn pan, zoom, and middle-click rotation on Controls. Use the First-week Checklist now that Verde is out — it is the same URL as the old pre-launch list, rewritten for the week after August 12, 2026. Hunt the 31 Steam trophies on Achievements. Fix red heat maps, gazebos, and language popups on Troubleshooting.
Tutorials live under Guides Hub. Dates and 1.0.2 notes live under Updates Hub.
When to open Tools instead of Guides
Choose Tools when the question is “can my machine run this,” “how do I rotate a ghost,” “which trophy is Leaf Tycoon,” or “why is the gazebo broken after launch.” Choose Guides when the question is “why are my Seedlets unhappy” or “how do I unlock snow.” Mixing those question types is why people bounce between tabs.
First week on the full game
Install through Steam, accept the 1.0.2 language panel, and do not skip water coverage. The checklist page walks launch-week goals: a stable garden, a cautious beach cluster, and a pause before snow. Achievements can wait until the heat map is green. Photo Mode and weather toys are optional; they still have trophies if you care.
Hardware honesty
Official minimums remain modest: Windows 10/11, 2 GB RAM, integrated graphics, 2 GB disk; macOS lists Apple Silicon. That does not magically equal a perfect Steam Deck controller layout. Plan for a mouse. Details stay on System Requirements and Controls.
Dropdown overflow
The header shows at most eight rows per category and then a “View all” link into this hub. Tools now has requirements, controls, checklist, achievements, and troubleshooting plus this overview. If a ninth utility appears later, it belongs here rather than stretching the PC dropdown.
Bookmark this hub beside Patch Notes. Utilities change less often than quest text, but 1.0.2 proved that a small patch can still add a language panel you need to know about.
Utilities that changed after launch week
Achievements and Troubleshooting joined this hub because 31 trophies and a gazebo hotfix are now player questions, not rumors. Requirements and Controls stayed. The first-week checklist reused the prelaunch URL on purpose. When a future patch adds another utility, it should land here instead of stretching the PC dropdown past eight rows.
